Have been watching Wicked Tuna, love the action, but what a bunch of babies, "Fishing on My Numbers!" What is that about.... What do you all think about the show?

Yeah I think like all reality shows it, the yelling and swaring at each other is meant to bring in the audience. But with so much money riding on each fish, I could see how things get heated.

It turns me off completely-then a Tooner hits and my wife can't believe how excited I get. Maybe should get a program that edits out all the extraneous stuff and just comes on when his sounder alarm goes off. Maybe I should crank up my sounder alarms, amplify my reels and play a recording of a submarine dive warning-except have it say "Fish On, Fish on"" Whooop 'Whoop-
Broadcast that from speakers on the radar arch!! That maybe enough to wake up even my sleepy crew at 4;30 am. Lol

I think I have only watched part of one or two episodes but never got that into it.........it is NO Duck Dynasty!! 
The bickering stuff to make it "awesome TV" got tiring although the true fishing part was enjoyable to watch.
I had my doubts at first as the friend who recommended it was the same one who told myself and a couple of buddies we needed to watch this AWESOME show that is totally crazy called "Operation Repo". He was amazed when I told him that Repo was NOT real......not in the slightest bit......he is yet to live that one down.

A completely fooked up family that has been on TV about 8-9 years too long.......they should have never made it on to TV...just as Bruce Jenner shouldn't have after he was done his interviews for winning the Decathlon in the Montreal games of '76.

I can see why they get pissed off, just like when we are trolling on the westcoast and someone cuts across your line.. Googans..., or when you are un straping your transom ties n putting the plug in before you launch your boat and someone cut in front of you to launch...,googans.., the show is great i just wish they would catch a few more 1100 pounders..I just wish Ralph pushed Tyler from the Pinwheel a little harder and made him launch right off the dock...

Personally I like Wicked Tuna...I'm sure some of it is "enhanced" for viewers......like Bill from The Bounty Hunter's continual tirades against Tuna.com....yet they say Bill was one of the alltime tuna-fishing greats around there....but now Bill can't catch a tuna to save his life for the most part......

I was glad to see the guy nail the punk from the Pin Wheel. That was real and called for. The kid was given every chance to get out of his face and the comment he made was totally off the wall. I would have punched the little sh$& as well. Surprised that Ralph was banned from the docks for the push. Regarding people taking the numbers, ah, first come first serve. I know how frustrating it is when you think that you have a special spot and then find someone else in it, river or ocean.. Get there first. Love the catching though, but a lot staged....TV.
Maybe it's non-stop griping you want between TV and PC?? ChoveyRoller

CoveyRoller...well Duck Dynasty is touted as a reality show......but if you watch it you can clearly see there' nothing "reality" about it. Each episode is clearly scripted/thought out in beforehand to advance the "dumb hillbilly" concept. It's almost moronic.
Yes...true....every other reality show is no doubt guilty of "scripting" and "enhancement".
But when I receive my daily dose of t.v. bul$hit I like it to be good quality high-end bul$hit.......Duck Dynasty is the "Twinky" of reality shows IMO.....

Marciano is a pretty good guy it seems.......he even shows how he calculates and saves "numbers" on his GPS for future reference...so if he does it they all do.....
Bounty Hunter did it( fish the other guys' numbers) to rile Tuna.com......and Tuna .com did it too......
