you know what's funny is for the average flat lander that is an amazing experience they'll remember for the rest of their lives - for any fisherman that's spent much time on the ocean its just another day on the water.

Is it bad to be a hippy? If you watched "Woodstock" more than seven times is that o.k.?
I don't remember much of the sixties.......they say if you can remember the sixties, you weren't there.
Don't know which I liked better.....late sixties love era or seventies disco.

Yes indeed Dave-when I do tours to Whistler I always tell visitors about the various issues Howe Sound has faced and save Best for Last-the revival of the Herring stock and the return of the Whitesided Dolphins.
Many times I've had people in the van gasp out loud when I tell them about the return of the Dolphins for the first time in living memory.

Right with you there Seafever! Great era's both the 60's and 70's.
And there ain't nothin' wrong with hippies and that generation. There were the hundreds of thousands on the civil rights marches and Nixon and Kissinger managed to get hundreds of thousands more out to protest the Vietnam war.
I reckon Harper is gonna' make history repeat itself because thousands will be out over the Northern Gateway pipeline. I'm growing my hair long all over again in order to honour the past and be ready to march........once more for old time's sake!!
