Where to surf fish??

I was thinking Tofino or around that area. Would this be productive?

And, I have a small, 10ft, kayak setup for fishing, or at least yakking baits out further. Where would be a good place for this?

i'd try out around the green can outside the nanaimo harbour it's a good close fishy spot. also neck point would be a really productive place, on the reef and around it, you could dip in at charlain boat launch and your right there. just casting a mack deep or trolling around a spoon would work.
