Hahahaha ..yup not much of wine guy great value and paired very well with dinner.... ps niel says thanks for leaving him left overs...I don't know anything about wine but my wife does. As for red this Australian 1 litre wine @$10.99 presently on sale at the BCL stores is worth a look. Believe it or not even Derby bought a case after a taste tour on the Boardwalk last weekend. LOL

I’m going to give that a try, Tubber. Thanks. The wine guy in our group of friends served this last night.
Good quality and value.

Carinena Crianza - Monasterio De Las Vinas
$20.99 | Spain | 1.5 L | Notions of smoke, game, violets, blackberry and blueberry set the stage for a smooth, elegant offering in which the oak adds a touch of complexity. This superb value is impeccably balanced and lengthy.www.bcliquorstores.com
I still buy this one, it goes on sale once in a while for 10.50 or 11 at the bcls. still a good deal at 12 imhoThis used to be our go-to cheap wine. It used be $9.99 which was an incedible deal. At $12.99 they lost my business lol.![]()
Puglia Sangiovese - Farnese Fantini
$14.99 | Italy | 750 ml | Ruby red color. Intense and persistent fragrance, fruity with cherries, prunes and vanilla scent. Medium bodied wine, well balanced and soft, ready to drink.www.bcliquorstores.com
for sure, one of my go to reds for a nice steak dinner, also just nice for a glass of smooth red on it's own very comparable to many more expensive reds imho, not surprising that it never goes on sale, lol.The J Lohr is a good one !
J Lohr will always be a staple. Their higher end vintages are REALLY good. We usually get those when stateside. I'm actually a fan of any California Cab SauvI still buy this one, it goes on sale once in a while for 10.50 or 11 at the bcls. still a good deal at 12 imho

Try “Josh”. It’s a California Cab Sav. 91 pts on Wine Spectator. Thrifty Liquor had it on sale for $16.99 last week. $17.99 at BCL, normally $19.99.J Lohr will always be a staple. You will really like the Black Sage, really yummie stuff. I think I see some Carmen in there, another great choice.I filled her up today! Snagged 44 bottles from the Dickens in Sidney, and snagged a bottle of 15 year solera reserve scotch while I was at it.
Would you look at that?!…. it’s time to get drinking.
