Is this more for aesthetic reasons , Or are you wanting to keep fish off the base of the compartment ?After the fish locker pics from @pescador I ordered the shower mat product from Amazon and lined my fish lockers today. A bit of trimming involved but the stuff is easy to cut so it went pretty well. Now I just need to pile some fish on it to give a review lol.
Dropped the boat back at the dealership for the 4th time since buying it in July for warranty issues on my 2025 Tuff Trailer. They sure don’t make things like they used to. I should have just rebuilt my old trailer if I knew it was going to be such a nightmare!
Fair question but I find the fish and ice bottles dam up the blood and water from rinsing and I have to move them around by hand to get the mixture to the pump-out drain. I’m anticipating just having to turn the pump on while rinsing with the washdown hose in the future and the fluid will free-flow under the mat to the drain. Is this more for aesthetic reasons , Or are you wanting to keep fish off the base of the compartment ?
Care to share what the issues have been? I have a 8500lb Tuff bought new in early 2020 and it has been trouble free.Dropped the boat back at the dealership for the 4th time since buying it in July for warranty issues on my 2025 Tuff Trailer. I ordered a fold down one online for pretty cheap. It was surprisingly nice quality. If only I could remember where the heck I ordered it from.Completed a couple of upgrades that I am very happy with. Had one Shockwave seat suspension installed earlier in the season, and now got hold of another one. They are not matching, but I got a good deal and they are a game changer in rough seas. A proper footrest may be a good idea, but the plastic step stool works good for now.
Also got some nice stainless steel downrigger rails installed - another great upgrade. gets the downriggers up where they are much more comfortable to operate, gives something to hold on to for safety and something to hang a fender off.View attachment 121428View attachment 121429View attachment 121430
It seems to be a case of bad luck, as I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. Hence, why I bought one, and I am still happy with it. The dealer has resolved it all now. The first day I brought it home, I noticed excessive play in both bearings. I brought it back, and they agreed with me that it was a lot of play and fixed it. Next, getting ready for my maiden voyage (the trailer hadn’t seen water yet), I noticed a puddle of brake fluid underneath. It appeared to be leaking from one of the fittings. They replaced it and assured me it was all good. Well, I get home, the trailer still hasn’t seen water, and it’s dripping brake fluid from the other side. They sent a tech out to my house and found the brake line had split in three places going into the caliper. Finally, after two trips, most of the LED lights on the trailer had burnt out. The trailer is all fixed up now, and I am happy with it.Care to share what the issues have been? I have a 8500lb Tuff bought new in early 2020 and it has been trouble free.
Looks awesome, nice boat....only thought is get a rod holder bar on the roof edge, clear them off the sides, for how good that boat looks, finish the detail.Hello, this is my first post and my first boat! not sure if this is the right thread but here you go, my 2024 double eagle Miss Alice, here’s some pics of how I have it set up![]()

Nice new boat,I see it's marked as a 206 EXT,which I would think means extended transom. It's clearly not but I see they advertise that they make one although I've never seen one w/factory pod.Is there another meaning for EXT?Hello, this is my first post and my first boat! not sure if this is the right thread but here you go, my 2024 double eagle Miss Alice, here’s some pics of how I have it set up![]()

Yeah it’s pretty low, I just sit on the cooler,Beautiful boat! And welcome to SFBC
Do you kneel to use that bait/cleaning table? Looks like it's mounted quite low.
I agree @Poppa Reelie 's suggestion to get a rod holder bar across the aft end of the hardtop and get rid of the side-mounted holders.
I think the only difference between the 206 and the 206EXT is the addition of the roofNice new boat,I see it's marked as a 206 EXT,which I would think means extended transom. Double eagle must have been asked a hundred times over the years for a factory extended transom. Why they don't build them baffles me.Nice new boat,I see it's marked as a 206 EXT,which I would think means extended transom. It would be a top selling West coast boat to get a factory podded 206Double eagle must have been asked a hundred times over the years for a factory extended transom. Why they don't build them baffles me.
