What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

Took my boat in for the 500 hour service on my main outboard. Next will be swapping out my transducer for a new 3-in-1 transducer. ready to hunt bottom fish with improved sidescan and downvision.

Added a bit of the Amazon eva flooring in a few of the high traffic areas. Will be interesting to see how it holds up over time.

I put the same stuff on my boat and it has held up well over 1 year. Power washer gets it pretty clean, but you need to be careful with dropping pliers, knives, and crab/prawn traps. I used extra glue with mine because the backing adhesive was a bit suspect.

Spent the better part of the day polishing and waxing the 542. Didn’t get the inside done as I ran out of steam

Went out to the boat and got the free safety check from the Port Moody Power Squadron .

Sticker to prove it.

Learned that my third fire extinguisher was missing it's service date label.

They were surprised that I had charts (?) and the Inspector Gentleman was very impressed with my chart cases.

The folks were very nice giving up a Saturday, I then went back to the office.

Re done the teak on 1985 2460 trophy
Mine on my 2459 was looking old and worn also but sure looks great after it's redone..it amazes me all the differences in all the Bayliner models. Mine is a 91 2459 and if you look close there is alot of changes from the 2460 your gunnel height looks way higher for one. IMG_20190514_100805.jpg

Just sprayed matching gelcoat to the bow sprit that I cut 11" out of so the boat will be under 30 Ft. for my marina spot.Just have to install now and have a welder reweld the railing after I cut it to match.
