I guess it never hurts to ask. I know it would depend on a lot of factors but how much would you realistically think someone would move if you were going to try? More just asking to learn because I don't have much experience buying used boats. I think I'd have to go into the insulting range in this case
Insult away lol, the worse is going to tell you to pound sand lol, you could be surprised not much moving right now unless price is right, that boat has been for sale for probably a year
Anyone have any first hand experience with these boats? I'm looking at taking a step up in size from my current 17 ft arima and am going to take a look at one of these. I was able to find a few threads to read on thehulltruth and it seemed to be all positive but its always nice to hear more input. Reading into the construction of the hulls they are all hand-laid fiberglass with no wood use for any of the structural elements. The boat in question is a 2007 coastal 232 with a 200hp yamaha and a 9.9 kicker.
The arima I have currently has been a great little boat but we are looking to upsize a bit to give ourselves some more opportunities and be able to spend the odd night in the cuddy. Any input is appreciates
A little late with this reply, but I absolutely love my wellcraft. 2005, 232 Coastal, with an etec 200 HO (G1). I don’t think I’d want a 4 stroke 200 for this boat… too heavy. The etec has a ton of torque and the boat itself rides very well. Well built boats!
