wanting to plan fresh water salmon trip

Hey guys! hope some one could help me or tell me a place the salmon fishing will be good in the summer. my wife wants to get into fishing and i also need help to gear her up. us albertains are nont that swift at salmon fishing. thanx

i would suggest a saltwater experience, fresh, bright, chrome fish, cant beat it.

A trip to Barkley sound, Poett Nook marina is great, while the coho are running strong is a great experience for new guys to salmon fishing.

River fishing. I always take a trip in the fall to the vedder and love it. But the fall is to busy for my wife so we are looking for a great salmon river for the summer.

the stamp/somass river in port alberni is really good (when the season is open and not 1000 degress). in the summer you mainly catch sockeye.
