Wanted: Mercruiser power steering pump

I'm looking for a used power steering pump, reservoir and pulley assembly for a 90's mercruiser 5 liter. Serial #16792A1. I'm in the Parksville area.

yup pump only change your housing and pulley, it is a standard saginaw pump

I’m not sure. But I thought I read somewhere that the auto version of this Saginaw GM pump uses a different pressure relief valve. So I’d go for the Amazon one that is compatible.

you use you original pressure relief valve, when you put the back cover on

does this mean you do not have power steering currently?

The power steering is working but it squeals at anything over 1800 rpm's. The belt is new but there is a bit of movement in and out when moving the pulley. The squealing stops when running the engine with the power steering belt off.

if thats the case just buy a replacement pump only and change over the pulley and reservoir, if you are on the mainland i can do it for you

Thank you for the offer but I'm in Parksville. I'll get a replacement pump
