Volvo penta xdp outdrive

I hear they have reliability issues. Does anyone know anything about this? Looking at boats across the border and don't want to make the drive for a lemon.

if that is the compost model stay away. On the hull truth website all you hear is expensive never ending issues.I was interested in a boat with one and the info out there scared me away,
