Vintage Fishing Plug Identification

I am wondering if anyone can help me identify this plug. It has no markings on it whatsoever to help with ID and I’ve never seen this type of hook attachment system before. It appears to have a stiff wire inserted at the tail that captures the eyes of two swivels inserted through the holes in the bottom. And it appears to be made of Cedar. IMG_8948.jpegIMG_8947.jpeg

Looks like a sparx. I have one that is somewhere between 1940 and 1960.

I went down the internet rabbit hole for a while and found a couple of examples of Wallace Highliner plugs with similar construction. They were well marked with the brand though.

Definitely could be a SparX
