Isn't life great? I actually do fish the Victoria area quite often, but admit not the Victoria water front? You eat and fish there? Do you want to change the conversation to Victoria water front? I suggest a new topic? I did never say I fish, catch or eat anything in or aound the Victoria waterfront?
And, the “it’s state of affairs”? What does that mean?
"Canada flushes some 200 billion liters of raw sewage directly into natural waterways every year, from the St. Lawrence River to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Pacific Ocean. That’s only a fraction of the three trillion liters of sewage Canadians produce annually—about 6 percent, in fact—but it’s still enough to fill more than 40,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
Yep! That's 200 BILLION! But, that is not what we are talking about, is it? If you are, I again suggest a "new" topic? I believe my comment was, and I quote... “Albert Head, I don't know about that one?”, that was regarding HALIBUT and was with a question mark. Did you miss something there?

I guess you have never used "food grade colouring" or ever had to clean that mess up after using it?
Have a great day!
LOL, I didn't comment on "its stae of affairs"! So you want to comment on that?Charlie,if you haven't fished the Victoria water front then don't comment on it's state of affairs...

Yes, fish migrate? Halibut migrate "to," salmon migrate “through”! So, halibut migrate to an area... stay and eat! Aah... you want to think about this:i've caught many a salmon/halibut on or close to the areas you mentioned...anyways fish migrate to/ from the areas in ?...

? You need to check your statement! Might want to read the links posted by The Rock?granted the envidence shows in the Past outfall pipes/industrial wastes were likely culprits of the contaminated seabeds...this however was most likely caused by storm drain runoff also from heavy industry& the twinning of the two outfalls.
Ha ha ha... Again I suggest you read the links the Rock posted? Might want to re-check that one, also? and also may I suggest reading up on the effects of Dioxin TCDD!Over the years it has vastly changed with the removal of solid & other toxins at the source & the demise of much ofthe for mentioned industry..true a lot of us are not happy about the ongoingdumping of sewage(in any form) into the Victoria waters.
“Soap box”? Let’s go back to my original statement and I again quote, “Albert Head, I don't know about that one? You do know if you are fishing those humps off Albert Head towards Victoria you are well within 2 miles from Macaulay Point outfall pipe! That and Clover Point outflow are two areas I would not recommend eating any thing that comes off the bottom!” Where is the "Soap box" there? That is and was just a comment to warn of the area! Is your name "Kevin"?So if you want to get on a soap box (Mrs.Stuarts) start your own crusade to clean up the (US) waters in your own backyard...

I am okay with either “Mr” or Mrs”! However, but may I remind you of some comments?By the way it's Mr.Sammy.
Mmmm C reamoanother(non-dairy) edible oil product.
Mrs.Stuart's liq.blue is for laundry, try a food grade colouringinstead...sorry Charlie @ Starkist we only select the best (chemical freesalmon)...sammy
Don't know about the, "sorryCharlie @ Starkist we only select the best (chemical free salmon)? Might want to check on the chemicals you dump!
As far as Mrs Stuarts? Well "Mrs" sammyslabber, I doubt seriously that you have ever used "food grade colouring"? If you have then you know it creates quite the mess and will stain the boat! The only thing I can say there is if you don't like cleaning up a mess, DO NOT USE "FOOD GRADE COLOURING"
I guess you have never used "food grade colouring" or ever had to clean that mess up after using it?
Have a great day!
