Victoria Boat Launch/winter spring fishing

I am completely new to the Victoria area and I am looking for boat launches that are close to good areas to fish for winter springs. Any advise or info would be helpful as I am very new to the area. As for the boat size my friend has a 16 foot aluminum boat with electrics etc.... Thanks again.

Esquimalt anglers' , James Bay anglers' and Cattle point boat launches are all within greater Victoria.
They are all close to winter spring territory.:)

Thanks for the info do you know how far you need to run out to find fish ( I am not looking for any secret spots just some general info that can get my friend and I pointed in the right direction.

Thanks

From the first 2 launches , you can start fishing within a couple hundred yards of the launch
in 90-120' of water.
Pick a good calm day and watch for other boats to give you a general idea.
3.5 coyotes in cop car,glow green, chrome/blue and chrome/green.
also needle fish squirts in glow, green splatterback and purple haze all work well.

esquimalt launch is the best and you can pretty much strat trolling as soon as you pass the jetty. You can't go wrong trolling right out front the harbour and over to clover point.
