Looking to go to Ucluelet in August and would like to find a good guide. Can anybody recommend one.

Big list to choose from.. Google up charter services for the area. TyeeONEon out of tofino is a pretty top notch charter if your willing to bolt their way.. You can find Darin at Weigh west.cheers-dirty

Ocean Rambler Fshing Adventures, Steve's been guiding up there for years and really knows his stuff, reasonable rates. Nice ride too, 25ft Bertram, top of the line gear.

I would suggest matt stabler or kenny meyers,both are top rods and a lot of fun to fish with.

Bill Von Brendal operates Just Fishn and is a good option as well.
I agree that Darren in Tofino is a good option, but there are a lot of really good guides in Ukee to choose from....

Ken Meyer is hands down the best fisherman Ive ever met, and I know lots! I think he goes by "Fish Myster"

Olly Olcen, Myers, Steve from Ocean Rambler, they all know the stuff, however when you book with Steve from Ocean Rambler or Ken from Fishmyster you always have Steve or Ken as the Guide with a one boat operation, unless Myers is running both rigs again this year?

There are many fabulous guides in Ucluelet. I recommend ABCCharters in Ucluelet or, in the alternative, Salmoneye Charters.

I have fished numerous times with both and you cannot go wrong with either!
