Hi guys,
For christmas I wanted to make myself two sorts of rods set up with baitcaster but I got a little confuse and have few questions ... I would be thankful if someone could help me out and give his opinion.
This is what I was thinking about.
A set up for breams, flatties, basically targetting species in Sydney harbour etc ..
Rod 7" to 8"
Baitcaster up to 10lbs with 8lb line.
The idea is really a rod that is average targetting small to medium size fish from saltwater to freshwater.
The second set up would be ideally for marlin and sharks.
Rod 8"
Baitcaster up to 30lb with 200lb line on it.
Would this work or am I being silly ? I really like the idea of thr first rod that can "do it all".
