Two Lessons

Learned two things today. First, always check and tighten wheel bolts before setting off. Second, the Premium RV membership from BCAA is a good investment on days like this. This tow was from 55kms north of Campbell River to home in Royston.

bcaa is great. i've got the premium rv also. didn't consider it might come in handy for my boat trailer. sweet!

Ouch...... Sorry to see her on a trailer other then the one the boat came with.

I also have the premium RV BCAA membership. Used it a couple of times my self

One thing to be aware of with BCAA is that they don't cover towing charges unless you call them BEFORE the tow truck hooks up. I had a trailer accident on Fri about 20k south of Port McNeil where there is no cell service so no way to call BCAA. Fortunately some really great guys from one of the logging outfits stopped and managed to get hold of their office via radio to put in the emergency call for assistance.

All is OK but I now have to submitted paper claim to BCAA for reimbursement. Just an aggravation I don't need when dealing with all the other insurance issues. FYI.
