I don't know specifically. I haven't bought a new truck post-COVID. I have noticed recently that dealers have radio ads specifically highlighting that they have 3500-class trucks in stock which is a favourable situation for a consumer.

I just did some online searching and found new, in-stock 3500HDs being listed for approx 7% off. So this specific truck would be discounted down from $88,330 to $81,200ish. Of course there's the dealer fees and all that fun stuff.

My friend had a couple dealers playing off each other on a diesel 1 ton crew cab in courtenay for his new business. Don’t quote me but I want to say he got it for 70k. Maybe I shouldn’t have posted that one, just because it had camper tie downs I got excited.

No harm in posting. It's a nice, plain-Jane truck ready for a slide-in camper or boat towing.

I was curious about this truck, so I just did the build&price on Ford.ca. A similar, not-modified truck comes to $124,000 (added high-output diesel, panoramic sunroof, upgraded seats, bedliner). Seems pretty wild to think that the lift kit and wheels/tires would add $50,000 to the price!

Same truck down to 145k oh he must miss the days of 0% financing and supply chain issues. 93 platinum f-350 2024 used in the US right now. Almost 1500 new f350 platinums being sold for less than 90k usd. 93,000 f150 platinums listed. I wonder what you could negotiate a US dealer down too. I went down to Oregon and bought a small Alumaweld in 2011. The CDN was beating the USD at that time. It was oh so sweet.

I just did the Build & Price online. Exact configuration is $87,330 before any discounts and negotiating (model year 2024). Seems like this used one (3-4 years old, 25,000km) is priced too high in comparison.

It’s still too high. Probably needs to be $64-65k. They dropped the price a month or more ago.
