Does anybody on the forum own one of these 1902 walkaround boats ?
I've been thinking that this 19' mid size boat would handle the
open water, but would still be manageable by yourself.
Nice design, lockable cuddy etc.
Looking for any comments ??

trophys ride a lot better then the explorers in rough weather.

I have a 2002 which is about 20'. Have not had it out in slop, but so far so good. For all the bad things said about Trophy's me thinks it's a good bang for the buck.

No longer afilliated with "bayliner" , the new Trophy's
made by Brunswick look like real nice boats.
as far as i can figger the 1902 has only been made for a couple of years.
i guess i will wait till the jury is out on these.[?]

What year did they start making the new version (unaffiliated with Brunswick)?

I've got an 1802WA and so is not too bad for the money.
I could for sure use the taller windshield that the 1902 has (try cutting following seas at an angle when its windy...brrrr)
Self bailing deck would also be nice. As well as the extra power.
Looks like a fine choice to me:)

Cheers
Vic

I've had a 2052 Trophy, the next size up, for 4 years. Have 260 hours on it, much of which either at Nootka Sound, Barkeley Sound, or off Victora/Sooke area. It has the hardtop cockpit, which is an added bonus. Not sure if available in the 1902.
I have encountered some pretty rough water, and this boat can take it. It runs dry in most seas. I did, however, add 3 more grab rails inside the cockpit, for the guests to hang on in the rough going.
The fit and finish is just fine, and Trophy offers good dealership support and warrantee. Very good value for the price.
I would think the 1902 would be a good boat also.
