Faced this more than a few times.
Never gets any easier that is for certain.
Still have eye water springing forth when I pass her kennel, her favorite spot on the carpet by the door, and more.

Although this is sudden, a very good buddy called as soon as he found out.
Told me about a 1/4 Arctic Wolf mixed to Shiloh / East German Shepherd. 10 weeks old.
White as the driven snow (resultant from the recessive gene for that from the Arctic Wolf).
Picking him up Monday.

Not at all a replacement for Kimmiq, but will help lesson the pain for my Lady, Ila & myself.
