Still lots of Hali's around and not too many mutts yet, at least close in...
As MThornton said, Salmon fishing has been off the charts for over a month, with Coho thick and Springs big and chomping hard.
Plugs have been rocking with 500 likely the best, along with standby 602 and 232. Big spoons in similar colours have been getting it hard too, but not as good as the plugs.
Just this week, with bigger tides, the guys have been running the odd stick of bait, but Turds and spoons have found them when they have been fussy.
I would say that it has backed off from Red Hot to just Hot....
Halibut and Lings along the 10 mile contour from Tofino, with Springs in the same area if you are able to get out there.
Inshore Fly fishing has been the best in many years.....yesterday our Fly Boat had two biggest around 14 on the Bucktail with many others.
