Would any of you be so kind as to share some tips for crab, prawns, rockfish, and a try at halibut in the South Gulf Islands? Will be at S. Pender and Salt Spring.

Cheers!

try the pender bluffs for springs and the sockeye and pinks are running right now too. go left before you enter bedwell harbour you will see the cliffs. for rock cod right on the point as you enter bedwell just find any celp bed

For prawns there are severl options around Salt Spring. For prawns the entrance to Fulford harbor (look for bouys at around 250 ft), around Satelite channel either Pat Bay area or across the channel at Mill bay from 230 to 260 ft, or out in front of Crofton.

Thanks for the tips, any are appreciated!

I know the halibut is a bit sketchy at best, but was wondering where ti give it a go at. I'll be trolling for Salmon in a few spots and there is lots of info available on that. The rockfish sposts are fairly easy to pickout on the chart (of course hot tips are welcome), but the halibut target areas a bit tough.

Thanks
