fishing around the Gulf Islands

hey again Team,

We've got a fishing boat booked from Tuesday to Friday in Victoria's Oak Bay Marina. I wanted to know what areas are recommended in and around the Gulf islands for Cod, Halibut, Prawns, and maybe the odd salmon.

I've got a bunch of jigging rods for my gf and I, some prawn traps ( minus the one I lost a week ago ) and will take my crab traps too.
I can't spearfish much but can go about 15-20 ft for sea urchin.

Make sure you read and understand the regs for each area you plan to fish. There are many RCA,s, species closures etc. DFO is on the water almost daily so make sure everything you do is legal.
