Thoughts On Nootka For Spring Hali.

Awesome stuff spring,, thats more than a guy could expect..

I may have to give it a go probably next spring. I hope to either find a spot out there for an annual spring run or we are also thinking of doing the Kootney Lake thing for the big Bows.. So many choices lol..

Prawning is at it's peek in Tahsis Inlet & Hecate Channel ( those are both calm deep fiords ) in all April & early May until the commercial open of prawns usually the 2nd week of May. Hali fishing will be good in shore in Nuchatlitz area when the herring spawn is on, around the 2nd/3rd wk. of April
