I had the anti-reverse pawl seize up on my Avet MX5. (under a year old)
Although Avet would not cover it, Harbour Chandler stepped up
and gave me a credit for the cost of repair.
They did this without even asking for a copy of the repair bill or original invoice.
pretty classy outfit.

I went in last week to pay my late balance on my account and Matt hands me a gift and says don't worry about it and thank you for all the past business. Classy is right. I felt like an azz for being late.

I love to hear good stories about customer service, such an oddity these days.

I will be a lifelong customer of places that have good customer service. I don't subscribe to the 'philosophy that the customer is always right' and I will gladly admit when it's my bad. When they step up and go above and beyond, I'm sold for life.
 
I too will give 2 thumbs way up for Harbour Chandler!! My first purchase ever from them was at last years boat show. I bought the Simrad 7" NSS evo2 chartplotter package (navionics chip and transducer) and had buyers remorse a couple weeks later. I wish I had bought the 9" NSS evo2 packaage!! Well I phoned them up and they said "no problem, bring it in and we will exchange it. They gave me full price of what I paid at the boat show and gave me the boat show price for the 9". I was extremely happy seeing how I wasn't expecting this. Long story short, great people to deal with!!
 
Received my cyber Monday order from them today actually. Got an email from them yesterday showing my order and asking to make sure everything looked right. Arrived on my doorstep this morning just in time to wind on some new braid. Great service!
