surveyor and hidden lake kikomun creek

Hey so I'm currently camping at surveyor lake. And I was wondering if anyone has caught anything like bass in hidden lake? I was out for about 2 hours on hidden lake yesterday and not even a bite. I was using a texas jig with live and fake watermelon colors worm. All I saw was all the painted turtles. Didn't see any minnow.

Should I try my luck with surveyor lake? Any tips aout surveyor? Or hidden lake.

So I just got back from the lake and no fish. There are tonz of bass by the shore lines. And I tried to get them to bite but no luck. Maybe to hot? The water tem was around 69 f. I tried jigs with real worms berkly worms. And also spinners any advice?
