Steelhead Fishing between Victoria and Nanaimo

I’m very new to the area and would like any advise where to go Steelhead fishing, is there anywhere to go in Victoria to Nanaimo.

I don’t have a boat but would like to go fishing from the shore, anywhere in Victoria Sooke area. Would like to catch lingcod if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You best opportunities for Steelheading on Southern Vancouver island is the Cowichan or the San Juan Rivers. Contact Zak at Robinsons Fly shop. He is the most knowledgeable guy that I know.
