how are these working out? i have 4 riggers that i pull 18-20lbers all summer. how are they standing up to the test? i carry extra spools loaded on the boat and thinking about making the change.

So far so good, super responsive to the braking.smooth and not cranky. I'm very happy so far. The shaft on the rigger is where I have a very slight imbalance but other than that I run my thumb on it just like the plastic. Not turning back now! stainless super spools!

I have used mine and they work great. quiet, smooth and the braking is amazing!

Just got my new ones installed, very straight forward and @ship happens had some specific tips during install. I pulled the braid off the old ones into a bucket and then dug out a computer power supply (12 volt output) and was able to power them up in my garage to spool it back on holding tension by hand. Haven't fished them yet but they feel smooth on the bench setting up the brake.

If anyone wants one of these power supplies for their garage I have 3 extras in Nanaimo for free.
