You can only keep 4 Coho in a day if you are fishing in an area that allows 4 a day. If not your daily limit is 2. Pretty simple

If I start my day fishing in an area that allows 2, take 1, and then go to an area that allows 4, am I allowed to take only 1 more or 3 more?

What if I take 3 in an area that allows 4 and then go to an area that allows 2? Can I take 1 more? Or am I in violation for having 3 from another area.

If you ever go in an area that allows 4, then you're allowed to have 4 for the day if you catch them all, or just 3 and 4 in that area. Just be sure that you can prove where they were retained especially if you move out of that area and into one with only 2 retention. We don't need to discuss the ease at which someone could take advantage of this silly system. It's pretty clear in my eyes.

Funny thing is there is so many coho around for the last few years, I go out for a few hrs and can release over 20
