Sooke boxing day derby!!!!!!!

Just wanted to let you all know this derby is happening again!!!!!!

Eldon from the crab shack wanted me to post this so anyone or everyone can come out to this event.And to support our local food bank and the less lucky people that live in this great community.

The entry is $25.00 per rod and the way it works is 1st prize is 1/2 of the money from ticket sales
(last year 75+ people) the other half going to the local food bank.
There is other prizes as well a local stay at one of the establishments a ($500 value) ALSO a Rod and reel.

Time is from dawn to 1:30

Also if you can please bring some canned goods to help as well last year we put alot in to the box but lets try for more this year. every bit helps go into that cupboard and dig out the stuff you dont want great way to clean up your kitchen.

The tickets are available at the crab shack when open and at Eagle Eye outfitters Hope to see you all there The long range forecast is starting to look pretty good with light winds and showers with a good solunar bite time of between 11 am and 1 pm and nobody could say that it's not a good cause at this time of year

YES sorry about that guys like Gon fishing said Eagle and Crab shack and they will be open morning of the derby (crabshack) very handy having the public launch and Jocks so lots of room to launch a boat....
Also I looked Yo have enough tide in morning and afternoon to launch anywhere
