FYI to our SFBC friends to the north!
The 3rd annual Fish Northwest Halibut Derby will be held on May 5-6 out of Friday Harbor and Anacortes, WA. We warmly invite our fellow SFBC members to visit us down south for some fun on the water and a chance to win some serious dough!
Tickets are on sale now through April 30th at Holiday Sports (Burlington), John’s Sporting Goods (Everett), LFS (Bellingham), and Dave’s Sporting Goods (Lynden). There is no online ticket purchasing site at this time.
This year we have added a weigh-in station at Skyline Marina in Anacortes, as well as 4th place and Mystery Weight prizes.
Prizes (USD):
1st Place: $7000
2nd Place: $2000
3rd Place: $1000 (sponsored by Highliner Charters & Environmental Insulation & Contracting)
4th Place: Traeger BBQ (sponsored by Judd & Black)
Mystery Weight: $1000
We'll have an awards ceremony again this year at Brickworks in Friday Harbor, including free food and raffle prizes. Stop by the Friday Harbor weigh-in station and grab a free FNW t-shirt on Friday while supplies last.
