Something different for 2025

It is nameless at this point in time. It definitely has a different shape, and it definitely works and certainly will not bend out of shape very easily. We fished it from June through the summer season in numerous painted finishes and decal finishes for Chinook and coho. We'll be playing with winter salmon now.

When we get closer to launching our finalized color patterns, I will share much more details.

We're getting closer to finalizing our new range of spoons for 2025. Along with the classic trolling spoons like the HOOKUM and Silvester's Secret and the Original CJ Special, PEETZ will be adding in two new trolling spoon ranges. The ones shown here are coined "HOMERUN" and our latest to come into play will happen and be announced shortly.

The blue HOMERUN spoon sitting on the flasher was very successful throughout the season from June to September for both Chinook and coho at various depths of 30 to 250 ft in areas on both the ECVI & WCVI. A notable experience that the captain had was while fishing in Barkley Sound off Effingham where the majority of his Chinook were caught using it. He said every loop though the spot pulled a nice fish.

I'll keep you informed of our progress.

There is so much more science behind the electrical field and how it effects your fishing. This website has lots of threads on the topic from over the years. As does a 1970's paper done at UBC about how it effects commercial trolling and a good book called Fishing With Electricity.
Is this the book?

No. It is a blue cover with the author pictured. I was looking for it the other day on my store shelves, I may have sold it already. It was printed in the mid to late 80's or early 90's.

Because I purchased PALLISTER of Sooke, BC aka PAL and Magic Lure a number of years ago, well before the PEETZ opportunity came about, all PAL products that I decide to put into play, will now ultimately fall under the PEETZ BRAND.
