Curiosity was killing me, it was sunny and boat launch near by so although I was late for work I dropped her in and did a hot lap of the bay.
Swim grid looks to be a couple inches higher out of water and boat felt different in a good way. Will have to load my gear and spend some more time to fully evaluate.
Also going to try my 19 pitch prop. Has 17 on now that I needed for hole shot with the extra weight before. But 19 would bring RPM down.
Only thing that wasn’t resolved is I can’t get the bow up very high while running. I can trim till motor comes out of water and bow does not come up that high. Maybe prop change will help? Anything else that could affect this? Motor height?

Why do you want bow rise?
Seems most are looking to minimize it....
Looks good but you will have to dial down your catch rate with this small size hold!
Do you have heavy stuff in your bow storage? Yeah, maybe check the motor height. If its mounted too high you won't have much room to tilt. A hydrofoil could potentially help too. I don't think another prop would influence this.

Can't wait to see how many fish we can jam in there! Going to get a kill bag for overflow on big trips.
Nothing heavy in bow storage. I should probably wait until boat is loaded with fuel, gear and second person before clear evaluation. This morning was a 10 min ride around the basin.
Super happy to have this finally done. I hated that fuel tank since the day I put it in.

Useful option for smaller boats in sloppy conditions, trim bow up to deflect spray.
