Every year something happen out of the ordinary when we fish the beaches of Vancouver Island. We just came off the spit you see in the photo and we were 80 feet beyond the spit wading catching coho salmon. As the the tide started to come in and sneak behind us we decide its time to go back to the main beach before we get stuck . After we reached the main beach we turned around and three killer whales showed up and they would have been 100 feet from were we were wading. I think my waders would be wet also on the inside if we were still there.

Got a whole bunch of this guy off of Uky a few years back.. Watched him for about 1/2 hr

We were fishing very early near sunrise. We heard noises and couldn't figure out and then this showed up.
