Salmon Salt Water Trolling Rod....Opinions

I used them all season for the big guys to. No problem. MR2 and MR3's on mine.

I did have to Sika flex the rubber back into the end cap...black Sika worked great, haven't come off since. Used a wood clamp to hold tight until set up.

Tech's are good rods. Have had a few issues with breakage, but that is to be expected with charter rods - they take a beating. I have been test fishing the new Rapala North Coast and Classic Moocher rods. Both have great action and have stood up with no issues to date. The Classic Moocher is brand new and will come out for 2011. The action is very similar to Tech's, and the handle is a beauty.

Looked at the both of them on the weekend- Look like nice rods- nice action- may have to test a couple this season
