This plug had some decent action for such a big plug (Corn N Cob) and looked pretty good and passed
the eye test so we deployed it to 55 feet. We have now named the plug ‘Electric Cob’
This batch started out with white uv base with hot rod flake and iridescent pink sides
Really pops under direct light and ghost under low light
Plug on the bottom with green eyes is a Chubby model and the others are shovels and a cypress birds eye burl plug. Didn’t take long before I had the 6 inch Chubby in the water testing it out and wham it fooled a fish!!
Vanna White will now be on full display in my plug room..
They really look quite impressive well done bud, they look alot like the ol lymans I used to use in knight inlet alot, we used to use the shovel nose pearl was the best ... Thanks for sharing brought up alot of memories!!!
Thanks guys and gals for your support and feedback.
Big high 5 for my buddy John for making this happen.
To start the season off I dropped off a load of Burls and a couple chunks of Nootka yellow cedar for John.
My wife now collects bowls
Red Cedar and Hemlock birds eye
John turned this Red cedar birds eye into a set of 4 bowls all from the same piece of wood. Some fancy attached called a bowl saver worked its magic.
