Rustoleum NeverWet - Boating Applications?

Has anyone tried this NeverWet stuff? I bought a kit when it first came out and sprayed some boots with it. E stuff works like a hot damn. I also sprayed an old hammer head that I had lying around and threw it out back of my house behind a tree. Guess what? It didn't rust. Not a bit!

If you haven't seen this stuff yet, check it out here: http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/neverwet/neverwet-kit

Or you can google it or look at any one of the thousands of YouTube vids. It is astonishing.

So I got to thinking, what could I use it on in my boat? Fabric is out because it does leave a Lind of hazy, textured finish to fabric and leather which might not be desirable to some. I also wouldn't want to us it on the boat canvas for the same reason. It can also wash off with a bit of effort so I wouldn't apply it to something hat gets regularly scrubbed down. So... What about your kicker? Or maybe your trailer? Downriggers? I will be applying the grey coloured NeverWet to all non-braking surfaces of my trailer brakes this year to test it out. Anyone else have any ideas on how you could use this unique product?

Applied to bottom of boat so that the boat skips across the water like a water-bug and then gets 40MPG?

I was thinking about trying something like this or that spray on flex seal on my canvas top. This stuff says it's good for fabric so I may give it a go. Canvas is not too pretty right now.

Dave, use this stuff for boat tops, works great
west marine has it
