Many years ago before 600 channels, we got the west coast tv feed which had the 49ers exclusively. Many San Fran fans still in BC.

Yes and when the Hawks were good the local bandwagon got pretty full.
You would see people wearing Hawks gear all over the place.....now that they are mediocre if I got watch football on Sunday with buddies you sure don't see many jerseys or hats.

I have been told that CDN season ticket holder numbers is close to 10,000
I have had season tickets for 22 years . I have 6 seats. 4 in a row in the corner 18 rows up from the field and two at centre field in the nose bleeds that I sell to a friend. We used to go to pretty well every game but now I give a lot of my games to clients.
The waiting list for tickets last year was 10,000 on the big list (costs more to be on it) and another 90,000 on the pay once to get a spot for your grandson .That list is closed.
A pal married a guy with 4 Green Bay tickets. We plan to have them out to see the Pack and we will head back to see the Hawks play the Pack.
It is getting the schedules to line up

Been allot of highs and lows being a Seahawks fan. I like Wilson allot but watching too many games that were way to close giving me a heart attack I'm ok with the move actually. The guy shows amazing ability when he's on fire but I'm tired of saying " hey we're only down by 10 at halftime we got this". Kinda scary with the unknown including Bobby Wagner gone as well. On the plus side lots of salary cap money available. Have faith in the hawks, thick or thin my flag will still fly on the roof of the house game days.

I have been saying this for a few years now. Pete is past due. Greg Olsen recently described how Pete wants to build his teams. Offence is not a big part of it.

This move could be better for the team in the long run.
picking up 4 good draft picks will make a huge difference, plus if we tank this year we will get another high first rounder. That’s like 8 first or second round picks in the next 2 years. If we score another steal of a QB pick like we did with Wilson, Seattle will be an amazing team!
Wilson isn’t getting any younger either. could be a couple tough years ahead while waiting for the draft pics to mature.

Wilson is not good with quick passes over the middle (like Brady). Wilson is not good with the quick release pass negating the rush. I love Wilson and know he individually helped us win a lot of games but Waldron's offence needs the 2 things Wilson is not good at. And we need the 30 million so we can sign some necessary players.

The history over the last years of whiffing on high draft picks is worrisome though.

Next couple weeks will be interesting, can't help but feel there is plan in the works that we're not aware of. Feels foolish to throw some good horses away for "Maybe they'll work out". Thinking back threw the Wilson year I can only remember a handfull of games where it was well in hand. Winning is winning but last second heroics to either score or stop the opposition isn't a great long term thing. Too many games are won or lost in the last seconds for my liking. Not mention an offense that is non existant untill after half time.
