Running Outboard on Flush Connection

Directions on how to flush mercury 15/ 20 EFI fourstroke

My 9.9 Merc has the same instructions, so that's how I do it. My old Honda 75 has a flush plug but it is not a standard garden hose, and I've been too lazy to make up an adapter, so I run it on muffs. The manual for it says to not run on the flush adapter. Seems to be model specific.

No choice on my Merc kicker, oddball water intake underside of ventilation plate. Special attachment required, must remove prop to access.
