rod repair cost?

i need new rod tip, and the section where the two rod pieces slide into one another to be re wrapped on one of the sections. Any ideas how much bucky's will charge for the repair?

shouldn't be more than 20 bucks
you can buy a rod tip and hot glue it on for cheap !

Might be better to get a new rod, the tip is one thing, but a re-wrap may be another.

I asked Matt at Robinsons in Vic one time how much to do a fly rod I have. He told me he would do it for something like 5 bucks/guide. Cheap, I thought. With taxes, I think RS Craven is correct. 20 bucks outta cover it.

great thanks, the re-wrapping doesnt need to be done by anymeans, the epoxy? coating had just cracked, i took it down today and they said thats the best thing to do.

Wow! That is awesome pricing on rod repairs...that is even better than the Pro wrapper that we had going on for our repairs at Screaming Fish & Fly - Nanaimo's Sportfishing Centre! I will now be refering all of our work down to Bucky's or up to River Sportsman in Campbell River - that is unless someone tells me that they can handle the extra work load on a regular basis.
