Red pepper sale

red bell peppers are on sale at Red Barn (Victoria area) for 99 cents a lb this week. I wait for this sale every year and pickle 10 lbs or so. A slice of cold smoked spring on a cracker with a piece of pickled pepper on top…..mmmm.
