Another bump to this thread. The project is going great and I want to express appreciation to anglers who have participated so far. We are still looking for folks to participate. It is a pain in the butt writing stuff down when you clean your fish (I do it for every one and I am actually catching a couple this year!), but, it is also a great opportunity to contribute to what I think is going to be a super interesting long term project. We are particularly interested in working with anglers who fish year round and who would like to be involved in the project indefinitely (multiple years). We are interested in receiving Chinook and Coho stomachs from anywhere in Southern BC.
Big thanks to businesses that are acting as depots for us (you can drop off your stomachs in their freezers, just ask at the desk). Island Outfitters, Pacific Net and Twine in Parksville, Tyee Marine in Campbell River. Also we really appreciate Bon Chovy Charters in Vancouver collecting a bunch of stomachs for us from their guided trips.

If you are interested in participating pm me with your email address and I will add you to the list. All participants will receive an annual summary of data collected (what the fish are eating, what size, where and when).
