Recommended Boat Cover

Hi everyone,

Looking for a boat cover recommendation. Looking for one which covers the full boat and will tolerate highway driving.

I have a 17.5ft double eagle.

Thanks!

I went with a Budge cover 5+ years ago and have been very pleased with it. One of the reasons I chose Budge was the wide range of sizes and shapes. My radar arch was tough to fit with other covers and I was able to get an excellent fit. I don’t trailer with this cover, so I can’t speak to that. Ordered through Amazon.com with pickup in USA to save freight costs.

I’d get one custom made. assuming you have a soft top Bimini with a slope backed cover that uses snaps. I have a guy who does good work and inquired about getting one made. About 1000 sheckles though,

I second the budge covers on Amazon. I went with the heavier 1200 denier fabric. The heavier fabric lasts longer and will be better on the highway. I think if you’re looking for an off the shelf option, and not going custom, I would recommend them. You’ll have to size it for your boat.

Depending on your boat, you may need to go custom. I recommend Canvasea in PoCo - I have a Centre Console which is always a tough one to cover - they did an amazing custom storage canvas for me.

PVC tarps. work great from princess auto.

oh yeah. definitely not for trailering. i dont use any covers for that.
you dont need bungees FYI i dont use them for sitting around even in heavy winds. those PVC tarps are ~70lbs.
