Selling the autopilot that I just pulled out of my Pursuit. This is a Raymarine ST6001 with the control head screen. There are a few reasons I’m selling this system.. Firstly I installed a new stereo system last year and one of the speakers I installed was too close to the location of the heading compass and I also wanted my AP to be able to talk to my lowrance sounder via an NMEA 2000 network and this system uses the old NMEA 0183. If you’re just looking for an AP that will hold a straight course and not worried about plotting a course on your sounder, this AP works great. The factory Raymarine rudder reference went belly up a couple years ago and I purchased this i3D Gear replacement, it’s a locally made product (that sell their products in USD) and it works great, I paid
$212 USD for just the rudder reference unit. I purchased a lowrance AP to replace this but reused my old hydraulic lines, so I’m including those with the sale of this system.
This package has everything needed for install.. head unit, smart pilot computer, heading compass, rudder reference, hydraulic pump, hydraulic lines. Also have all the literature and manuals for the system.
Just the smart pilot control head goes anywhere from $400-$800 usd on eBay alone.
I’m asking $500 for everything. Located in Nanaimo.
