just learned that Reef makes 2 reels, not just the one model. the DH which many of you have, and the DS which is newer, slightly smaller and has a sealed drag. wondering if anyone has any experience with one.

I bought one for my DiL mostly for the pretty colour but I am impressed with its functionality. The drag knob on the wrong side takes some getting used to but the setting is easily repeatable by the numbers. Once you figure out the best spot on the dial for dropping and for fishing you just put it back to that number. The drag and retrieve are really smooth and I believe it’s a great reel for the price.
