100% right. Keep the aluminum or composite as a spare for the emergency scenario.why would you hit your prop on rocks, lol? either way stainless or alu you will still need it fixed and a new hub pressed. and stainless are way better for fuel efficiency and high power motor such as yours.
Sorry DW I can see your point. I was imagining that you were talking about roaring around and hitting a rock due to inattentive piloting. In your case I can understand the desire for a 'sacrificial prop'thanks finaddict i have a north river sea hawk and i like to put it on the beach /and i have all the gps nav cards all of it.and that is why i want a aluminun prop.stainless does not bend easy.but thanks again for the info
Going from a 3-Blade Aluminum to a Composite 4-Blade, putting it on this weekend. Seems really slick. Reviews are good, and hopefully it will get me on a plane faster! Blades are individually replaceable.

I meant to put it on last weekend, but someone smart person (previous owner) cranked the prop nut on with an impact or something! So stupid!!! Glad I found that out at the dock and not in a broken prop scenario.
thanks steelydan will look at turning props
whats that sucker worth?
