Prawn Traps made from 5 Gallon Buckets

Hey Guys


Just wondering if anyone has made or bought these style of traps. There made with 2 5 gallon buckets that pull togther with a bungee cord. If you have any pics to post that would be great I'm looking to buy or build some. Also how well have they work for you.

I built some once, never fished well as I think they roll while on the bottom, tried weighting them, just never worked out for me.

Made some once with square black buckets. The fished pretty good but the round commercial traps will fish better as there is more area too fish with.

I've got both commercial and square ones the commercials are better, and know I have one stack in the boat compared to two. don't even use the square ones the just sit in the shed
