Here's a very interesting link explaining the ocean conditions and predictions for good Chinook salmon returns in 2010, and good Coho returns in 2009. Only one more year of challenging fishing to go folks.

It does as ocean occilations affect an entire coast. Knew my climate change course would come in handy for something other than having facts up my butt that disprove global warming lol. But ya...I know ocean conditions this year were great...tons of feed too...more than I've ever seen in my short lifetime.

Judging by the amount of undersized springs caught by myself and EVERYONE ive talked to, things are hopefully looking much better for the next few years.
