Never taken this route but understand it has been upgraded considerably in the last year. Has anyone travelled it recently (trailering a boat)? Any info regarding general condition and travel times would be appreciated. Am considering using it in a couple of weeks.

Thanks.

I went there about three weeks ago from mesachie lake and the road was like a highway . Dont know if the rain messed it up . It was just under an hour and a half.

Whole you must be thinking of the road to nitnat that road is the worse road I have been on.
From Mesachie lake Its the best gravel road I have been on, a quarter of it is paved.

the road is generally pretty good now as they are supposed to maintain it, but of course you will get some potholes, the have repaved some parts on the renfrew end, if you drive normally you should have no problems at all

I have to agree with Salty Beaver, The Road is Good.
I been through there lots with boat and with trailer.
Not at the same time Da....
In anycase the road conditions are very good but as always your speed will also help.

Cheers...
