Port Hardy to Rivers Inlet

The year isn't over yet and I'm allready planning next year.Has anyone ran from Hardy to River's? How long of a run is it,any spots to tie up?

On a good day runnng 20 knots you should be there is about 2 hours. Watch the weather forecasts and run early. Pine Island will give you the best report of the outer waters. In Rivers there is Duncanby and Dawsons and both have food and fuel and moorage. You will pay a premium for this as you are in the middle of no where. Fishing was better early this year rather than late. No sure about the size and amount of fish but it doesn't matter as it's a great place to fish for a few days. Good luck.

what size boats do most guys run over there in?

Is a 20foot Hewescraft a bad idea???

just run on a day that the ferry leaves if your worried.

You could make in a 20 but make sure you have a good kicker in case something goes wrong.

Do alot of guys make the run over there or do most people just stay in Hardy? Is there any cabins to rent out that way?
