Port Hardy to Bishop Bay with some fishing at Rivers Inlet

We travel from Port Hardy to Bishop Bay this day, a total of 171NM! Along the way we do some fishing at Rivers Inlet!

First time on the salt I was staying in an old A frame cabin down by Bishops bay hot springs. It was a cold wet spring with ice on the boat many mornings enjoying a warm dip there was an understatement.

Yeah it has gotten really busy in the summer, one day last year there were 16 boats there. I've caught a couple nice hali there as well!

We used to stop there in my commercial days , usually after halibut trip. So good after working 20 hours a day for a week.
